Loft & Cavity Wall Insulation
What is Loft Insulation?
Up to 25% of a home’s heat is lost through a roof. To reduce this, loft insulation can be rolled out in the loft space. It is a very easy way to stop heat loss, reduce your carbon footprint and lower your fuel bills. Recycled glass wool or rock wool is rolled out between the loft joists. Building Regulations states that all homes should have 270mm of loft insulation. Loft Insulation is even more crucial if you decide to have an Air Source Heat Pump installed.

What is Cavity Wall Insulation?
Around 35% of heat in a home is lost through the walls. If your home has a cavity wall then Cavity Wall Insulation is something that is highly recommended. Small holes are drilled into your walls and tiny insulating beads are blown in, filling up the gap between the external and internal walls. There are other products used to for cavity wall insulation such as mineral wool but we would only recommended beads.
